Once again Richard's attention to every possible detail made yet another week in West Palm a realxing time. This was my second time renting one of Richard's homes, and as Ive come to expect, I felt like I was visiting a friend's home....all his places are so detailed in a way no other rentals *anywhere* are. Great furniture, lots. and lots of art, nice bedding (and great beds) make any of his houses a "home away from home" on frequent Florida trips -- and Ive stayed in two of them now. Everyone who walked down Mango Promenade where this latest house is located would stop and admire the house - yes. That alone says it all for a rental. Make sure you hit Tulipan - the Cuban bakery/coffee place around the block - we found it only on our last day on a prior trip. There is a great walkway on Lake Worth a block away. In a nutshell, quaint yet luxurious, charming yet incredibly sophisticated.

"Oasis" is a little slice of heaven. Lots of tropical plants and trees create the feeling of peaceful privacy, which encouraged us to enjoy the hottub and hammock every day. Inside, the house is tranquil, decorated with just the right amount of Southeast Asian touches. We especially enjoyed the atrium room, where we often ate breakfast while listening to the fountain babble and birds singing. The owner has taken the time to pay attention to every detail, used quality finishes and furnishings. The beds are super-comfortable, and the clawfoot bathtub... very, very nice. The home even smells really good. Truly a unique space with tons of character.
